I think I understand. When you've spent years as a mudblood, you have to detach yourself from your body, and so it doesn't seem to much matter what happens to it. Certainly it's in the Protectorate's interest to humiliate as much as possible.

But you and I were okay because we kept our minds free. They were our own safe space. And then to have Teddy Nott invade it, that horrible, sick, scrofulous little shite--urgh.
