I was worried I wouldn't be able to get any of you your presents this year, but Pig showed up last night! So that's all right. Well, what I'm sending you isn't much, but I did them myself. And he delivered the things you all sent to me, but I'm saving 'em until tomorrow to open them. So I have something to look forward to, tomorrow.

It is hard to not be at Hogwarts at Christmas. But I have your presents, and I can talk with you on the journals, thanks to the lock. And the git's sister sent him a lot of bottles of the sort of liquor he likes, so he'll be real drunk tomorrow, which means it'll be quiet. So I'm grateful.

I wish I could tell you that your Christmas present was me finding out from Alecto where you are, but no such luck. She said she'd send the socks on if I gave them to her, and wouldn't budge.

I hope he hates the socks and gives them to you. They're good socks.

Happy Christmas. Tell everyone I love the gifts. The books and everything look like just fascinating. I'll study them really closely. (And thanks for the chocs, too! I haven't had anything sweet since leaving Hogwarts.) And tell the twins that my bracelet hides everything away just as slick as ever. I was worried that the beads wouldn't be able to hide more stuff, but they just seem to have a bottomless capacity. And the git still doesn't seem to be able to see it. Anyway, he's never seen a word about it.

Except that the bracelet is getting sorta heavy, what will all the books and things I'm hiding in the charmed beads. Can you ask them if Fred and George if they know a charm that might lighten it a bit?
