I'm at Sherwood, although I come back to Moddey every Sunday night for dinner. I haven't seen her to discuss the idea in person.
I realise there are risks, but if we consider them carefully, I don't think they're too unreasonable. I really do think if the colour of my fur was altered, or maybe shortened, nobody would recognise me. I'll always have my wand with me for the very direst of emergencies, of course, since it's kept in my bracelet. And if worst comes to worst, if I could get off the grounds--and I can run quite fast as a dog--I can always apparate away. But I wouldn't be in human form very often. Just when I'm with one of you, in a safe location. I figure I'd be the Professor most of the time. Eating and sleeping. That isn't a hardship at all.
(There's a small part of it that's purely selfish, I'll admit. I would like to be back at Hogwarts. And to see all of you.
It would be wonderful to be back there knowing I'm never going to see the git coming around a corner.)
