At the risk of Poppy or the General hexing me for the danger of it, might be best if I were to come with you, Frank. He's met Padfoot. It'd go a long way to avoiding lengthy explanations there might not be time to give.
I'm as anxious as any of you to see the boy given a Portkey and to have someone verify what condition he is in.
That is not meant as approval for foolish risk-taking, but I trust you both realise what's at stake.
Speaking of the Carrows, we've still got Alecto to cope with here, and she is madder than ever to all appearances. Not that she's put in many appearances since the term ended: she's barricaded herself into her suite and is taking all her meals there. I have, however, spoken with her via the fire twice to address her complaints of sleeplessness and headache--and listen to her rants over the mistreatment of her beloved sibling.
Her demeanor on those occasions has been absolutely shocking, which is saying something for a woman who has never been exactly precise in matters of dress or hygiene. She has entirely let herself go. And yet, her voice is strong and she does not appear gaunt. The elves report that she does eat what they deliver.
I believe she's had contact with Amycus. We've observed her owl coming and going on a number of occasions. But that's the extent of what I can report.

he'd be more likely to trust that I knew of you if he saw you too.
we've polyjuice to spare.
Re: Order Only
A warning, though, especially if Sirius goes along: I've discovered there are anti-apparition wards up in that castle.
Guess Carrow's taking no chances on sneak attacks.
